At Eolis Kite, we offer windsurf courses in L’Estartit for all levels, from beginners to advanced riders.
We work with private and group lessons, always adapted to the student’s level and the wind conditions of the day, to guarantee safe progression and make the most of every session.
Learning windsurf is a progressive process, adapting each session to the student’s level, the wind conditions and the state of the sea. The goal is to progress safely, understand the correct position well and make the most of the time on the water.
1. Equipment and basic position
We start by getting to know the equipment, the position on the board and the basic wind concepts in order to understand how to move with control.
2. Balance and first rides
We work on balance, body position and the first rides, learning how to open and close the sail to accelerate or slow down.
3. Direction and basic turns
As you gain confidence, we work on direction, changes of course and the first turns so you can start sailing more independently.
4. Progression and independence
Once the foundations are solid, we work on smoother riding, better sail control and more independence on the water according to each student’s level.

All windsurf sessions last 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Windsurf courses depend on the wind conditions. Normally, the best time slot for learning is in the morning or around midday. We confirm the schedule according to the forecast, usually the day before the session.
You only need to bring swimwear, a towel, sun protection, water and a good attitude.
If the conditions are not suitable, we reschedule the session for another day depending on the forecast and availability. If you do not have more holiday days left and the course cannot be completed, we refund the amount for the sessions not completed.
