At Eolis Kite, we offer wingfoil courses in L’Estartit for all levels, from beginners to advanced riders.
We work with private, semi-private and group lessons, always adapted to the student’s level and the wind conditions of the day, to ensure safe progression and make the most of every session.
Learning wingfoil is a progressive process, adapting each session to the student’s level, the wind conditions and the state of the sea. The goal is to progress safely, understand each stage well and make the most of the time on the water.
1. Wing control
We start by learning how to handle the wing, understand the wind direction and generate controlled power, both on land and from the water.
2. Balance and board basics
We work on body position, balance and the first movements, to build confidence before starting to look for flight.
3. First foil flights
Once the foundation is good, we introduce the foil progressively. In many wingfoil courses, we also use the boat for specific flight exercises, a very effective way to understand body position, stability and control on the foil before continuing to progress on the water with the wing.
4. Progression and independence
As you improve, we work on more independent riding, speed control, transitions and the first manoeuvres.

Wingfoil courses in L’Estartit are usually done in 2-hour sessions.
In many 3-day packs, we combine 2 sessions of 2 hours with 1 session of 1 hour by boat, ideal for making foil flight learning easier.
Depending on the student’s level, the course can also be done with 3 full sessions of 2 hours.

The semi-private format is a very good option if you are 2 people with a similar level. The group format is designed for 3 people. In any case, if you are 2 or 3 people, you can also book private lessons if you prefer more personalised attention.
Wingfoil courses depend on the wind conditions and the state of the sea. The exact time is confirmed according to the forecast, usually the day before.
You only need to bring swimwear, a towel, sun protection and water. We take care of the technical equipment and the rest of the gear.
Lessons are usually done in 2-hour sessions. In many 3-day packs, we combine 2 sessions of 2 hours with 1 session of 1 hour by boat to make foil flight learning easier. Depending on the student’s level, the course can also be done with 3 full sessions of 2 hours.
If the conditions are not suitable, we reschedule the session for another day according to the forecast and availability. And if you do not have any more days left to complete the course, we refund the amount of the unfinished part.
